In some way all of the minor characters make a difference in the main characters life. I think the main characters lives would be very different without all of the minor characters surrounding them. When everyone of these characters are together as a family everyone is joyful and happy to have these people in there lives. Even thought these characters are minor characters they each play and important role in the lives of the main characters and in the story.
You're absolutely right. MInor characters DO affect major ones. Specific examples are needed to complete your answer.
2.What I Disagree With
I disagree with Karel's decision to not marry Corrie. I know that he had no choice because of his mother but i feel that if he really loved Corrie he wouldn't marry who his mother wanted him to marry. I think that they should have gotten because they were in love. Karel didn't love the women his mother pick for him. I think that everyone should get to choose who they want to marry and be in love with. I don't think that it is right that his parents are basically forcing him to marry who they approve of.
I also disagree with the father when he hired Otto. He hired him without asking any questions and didn't know what kind of person he was. The result of this was very bad. Otto began to treat Christoffels very badly. '"Accidental" collisions and trippings, a shove, a heel ground into the toe, were making the old clockman's journeys to and from work times of terror." "It was not until the icy February morning that Christoffels stumbled into the dining room with a bleeding cheek and a torn coat the the truth came out." It turned out that Otto had forced Christoffels into the side of the building and ground his face against the rough bricks. The father ended up firing Otto for the way he treated Christoffels.
3. This story has changed the way I think about how hard things can be in life. I think Corrie and Betsie have a pretty hard life having to take care of their mother and their aunts and going through all the deaths of their loved ones. No matter how bad thiings got they never complained and always looked for ways to help everyone else out. They always had a good attitude and stayed positive. I hope I can keep a good attitude and can stay positive the next time I think things are hard in my life.
You have good ideas to show how sometimes people treat each other so rudely. It's also hard to know that this is a true story...Corrie didn't die that long ago. Imagine living with all those memories. Very difficult!
